Harvesting worms

VERMITECHNOLOGY

MY PROJECT

Vermitechology is the process of using worms (Vermiculture) to produce good quality and organic fertilizer (Vermicompost) and organic pesticide, known as Bio pesticide.
Through this blog we will learn how to harvest worms for Bio fertilizer and Bio pesticide.

The whole project in a single post: Welcome

Vermiculture

Keeping of worms

Vermiculture is the harvesting of worms for either personal or professional uses. It could be used personally to make organic fertilizer or bio-pesticide, and it could be used business wise for making organic fertilizer and bio-pesticide in large scale.

Vermicompost

Bio-Fertiliser and Bio-Pesticide

The broken down foods from the worms, which is the casting can be used as Bio-Fertiliser on plants and is used as a replacement of chemical fertiliser. At times the casting may be made into BioPesticide, which is called worm tea.

My Personal project is Vermitechnology which is an organic process of two process which are Vermiculture, which is the keeping of worms for either Business or personal use, and Vermicomposting which is using these worms for the production of Bio-Fertilizer and Bio-pesticides.

Vermitechnology

Vermitechnology was a topic that had caught my interest and I was also inspired by my uncle to take this up as a school project. Vermitechnology is environmental friendly and causes no harm at all. it is very interesting and I hope to share my passion with the outside world.
